Here’s an easy and delicious crockpot barbecue pork recipe that pairs well with Narmada’s Gulabi Wine. Thanks to Kim Williams for submitting this recipe!
Ingredients
Pork roast — 3 to 4 lbs
1 small jar mild banana pepper rings, with juice
1/2 cup bottled bbq sauce
1/2 cup cherry preserves
1/4 cup dry red wine
How to Cook
At night, put pork roast in crockpot. Mix other ingredients together and pour over roast. Cook on low heat overnight, about 12 hours. Remove pork, chop or shred with two forks. Return meat to crockpot with liquid. Stir and continue cooking on low all day until dinner time – about 6 to 8 hours. Serve on buns or in Cuban or Vietnamese rolls.
