2009 Lotus

Narmada Winery’s 2009 Lotus wine is a late harvest Vidal Blanc fermented in stainless steel with a 7.0% sugar content.

It is named for the lotus flower, which is an East Indian symbol of elegance, purity, and grace.

“Late harvest” means that the grapes were left on the vine longer to allow the flavors to intensify and to increase the sugar.

Distinct aromas of apricot, peach and a hint of nectar come through clearly in the nose.

With only a 7.0% residual sugar level, this is a light and delicious wine.
